Product Description Accutase is a cell detachment solution of proteolytic and collagenolytic enzymes. It has been developed to meet the most demanding requirements for gentle and effective detachment of adherent cells. It is useful for the routine detachment of cells from standard tissue culture plasticware and adhesion coated plasticware. The advantages of Accutase over the traditional Trypsin/EDTA treatment are that it is less damaging to cells leading to increased viability and no inactivation of the enzymes by inhibitors or serum is required. The Accutase solution does not contain mammalian or bacterial-derived products. Features - Gently detaches adherent cells - Protection of surface epitopes - Effective for most cell culture applications - For tissue dissociation for primary cell culture - High cell viability and plating efficiency - No neutralization required Applications - Routine cell passage - FACS analysis - Analysis of cell surface markers - Migration- and proliferation assays - Production scale-up (bioreactor)
